Affiliate Terms

These terms are between Work Decals, Los Angeles, California (info@workdecals.com), and you, the affiliate named on your partner page. You accept them by ticking "I accept" on your partner page. Your link and code only work after you accept.

We give you a personal link (https://www.workdecals.com/?ref=YOURCODE) and a personal code. Customers who type your code in the cart get the discount shown on your partner page off their decals. The link on its own gives no discount, but it still credits you. Your code cannot be changed once it is made.

2. What you earn

The commission shown on your partner page, as a percentage of the decal price on every paid order that comes from your link or code. It is worked out after any discount and does not count shipping, taxes or fees. One commission per order. Discounts never stack: if a customer qualifies for a better discount (for example fleet pricing or a site-wide promo code), they get the better one and you still get the credit.

3. How credit works

A visit through your link is remembered on that phone or computer for 30 days. If the customer later uses a different partner's link or code, that partner gets the credit: the last one used wins, and a typed code beats a link. Orders placed by you, or for you, your business or your household, earn nothing. We decide credit from our records, in good faith, and our records are final. Your partner page shows the date and amount of every credited order.

4. When and how you are paid

A commission becomes ready about 30 days after the order ships (45 days after the order date if we have no ship date), once the card payment is confirmed. In practice that is about 5 to 6 weeks after the order.

A refund, cancellation or lost chargeback cancels a commission; a partial refund lowers it in proportion; an open chargeback holds it. We keep checking paid commissions for about 120 days, and open chargebacks for up to a year. If an order is refunded or charged back after we have paid you, that amount comes off your next payment. If there is no next payment within 12 months, we write it off.

We pay in the first week of each month, when your ready commissions total $25 or more. Smaller amounts carry over to the next month, and everything that is ready is paid each January whatever the amount. We pay by PayPal, as a business payment to the PayPal email you give us, and we cover PayPal's fee, so you receive the full amount. Every payment shows on your partner page.

5. Tax paperwork

Before your first payment we need a completed IRS Form W-9 from you. We will ask by email; please send it by email, never through your partner page. If we do not have it, we hold your payments until we do. You are responsible for your own taxes, and we may issue tax forms (such as a Form 1099) as the law requires.

6. How you may promote us

Be honest and say only what our website says. You must tell people you earn a commission, clearly and next to the link or code, every time you share it: for example "I earn a commission if you order through this link", "Paid link" or "#ad" in the post, spoken in a video, or said out loud in person.

You must not:

  • post the code or link on coupon or deal sites;
  • run search ads on "Work Decals" or similar names;
  • send unsolicited email or texts;
  • use your link or code for your own orders;
  • say decals are DOT, FMCSA or state approved or compliant, or make any claim about sizes, rules, turnaround or guarantees that is not on our website;
  • write, buy or reward reviews;
  • pretend to be Work Decals, or use our name and logo except to link to us;
  • use pop-ups, forced clicks, hidden links or anything else that credits you for a visit the customer did not choose.

Orders that come from breaking these rules are not paid. We decide whether a rule was broken, and we will tell you why.

7. You are independent

You are an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner. You choose when, where and how you promote, you may promote other companies, and you pay your own costs and taxes. You cannot make promises or agreements on our behalf.

8. Changes and ending

We can change these terms, change commission or discount rates for future orders, pause or end the program, or end your participation at any time. We will tell you by email or on your partner page; continuing to use your link or code after a change means you accept it. If we end the program or your participation without you breaking a rule, commissions already earned on paid orders are still paid as described in section 4. If a rule was broken, unpaid commissions are cancelled. You can stop at any time by telling us.

9. Your partner page and data

Your partner page shows amounts and dates only, never customer details. Keep its address private: anyone who has it can see the page, and we will replace it if it gets out. Do not collect or keep our customers' personal information.

10. Liability

The program is provided as is. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the program is limited to the commissions due to you in the 12 months before the claim. You will cover claims against us that arise from your promotions breaking these terms or the law. California law applies, and disputes go to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

11. Acceptance

Ticking "I accept" on your partner page is your signature. We record the version you accepted, the date and time, and the internet address and browser used.
