These terms explain how ordering from Work Decals works. By using workdecals.com or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or order from us. "We", "us" and "Work Decals" mean the business that runs workdecals.com. "You" means the person using the site or placing the order.
Who we are
Work Decals makes truck and trailer decals: USDOT, MC and state regulation-number lettering, company-name decals and ready-made custom logo designs. We are based in Los Angeles, California and ship within the United States. You can reach us at info@workdecals.com or through the contact form.
Using this website
You may use the site for lawful purposes and to shop for decals. Please do not misuse it: do not try to break or overload it, scrape it in bulk, upload anything harmful, or place an order with information that is not yours to use. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.
Made-to-order products
Every decal is made to order from the text, numbers, sizes and colors you enter. Because they are made for you, decals cannot be resold to another customer. Please read the refunds and returns page, which explains our satisfaction guarantee and our 3-year guarantee.
Your information must be correct
You are responsible for the text you enter: spelling, company name, USDOT number, MC number, state numbers and any other line. We make the decal exactly as entered, so please check every line in the preview before you pay. If you notice a mistake right after ordering, contact us at once and we will do our best to fix it before your decal is made.
For custom logo designs, we fit your company name to the design you pick and send you a proof to approve before it is printed. The design is not made until you approve it. Please confirm you have the right to use any name, logo or text you give us.
Rules and compliance are your responsibility
Our guides and product pages summarize public rules, such as the federal marking rule in 49 CFR 390.21, in plain language. They are for convenience only and are not legal advice. Requirements differ by vehicle, operation and state, and rules change. You are responsible for knowing and meeting the rules that apply to you, and for choosing the right size, colors and numbers. Check with the FMCSA and your state agency if you are unsure.
Prices, promo codes and taxes
Prices are in US dollars and shown on each product page. We may change prices at any time, but the price you see when you pay is the price you are charged. A promo code, such as the one shown in our site banner, takes a percentage off the decals in your order, can be used once per order, and cannot be combined with another code. If sales tax applies to your order, it will be shown at checkout before you pay. We may correct pricing mistakes and will tell you before charging you if that affects your order.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. By paying you confirm that you are allowed to use the payment method. If a payment fails or is disputed, we may cancel the order.
Shipping and delivery
We ship within the United States. Shipping is a flat rate per order, and free when your decals total $99 or more before discounts. You will be emailed a tracking number one or two days after your order is placed. Delivery times depend on the carrier and are estimates, not promises. Guarantee, replacements and refunds
- 3-year guarantee: if your decal peels or comes off, tell us and we will send a replacement for free.
- Satisfaction guarantee: if you are not happy with your decal, contact us. We will work with you on a replacement or a refund of the product amount, as you prefer.
- How to claim: email info@workdecals.com with your order number and, if you can, a photo.
The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, abrasive cleaning, or removal and reapplication, or a decal that matches what you entered but is not what you needed (for example, a number typed wrongly).
Cancelling or changing an order
Contact us as soon as possible. If your decal has not been made yet, we will try to change or cancel the order. Once it is made, the refund and guarantee terms above apply.
Ownership
The website, its text, images, design and software belong to Work Decals or its licensors and are protected by law. The sample logo designs shown in the shop are our designs. You may not copy them except to place an order. Your own name, logo and text stay yours.
Our responsibility
We stand behind our products as described in the guarantee above. Beyond that, to the fullest extent the law allows, the site and products are provided "as is" without other warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business or fines, that come from using the site or a decal. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to court elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
