Lots of white space and very little ink. At the top sits a blue four-pointed star, the kind drawn on a compass, with long thin points straight up, down, left and right, each tapering to a fine tip around a tiny gap in the center. The two lines under it, NORTHSTAR and LOGISTICS, are thin, evenly spaced black capitals of about the same length. Northstar Logistics is a made-up sample name, so your company name replaces the words, and the star stays.

Two lines of nearly equal length is how the sample is built, so a name made of two words with a similar number of letters fits it best. Uneven words still work, but the lines will differ in width. The strokes are thin, so a short name looks better than a long one: more letters mean smaller, lighter letters. Thin letters need strong contrast and a viewer who is close or moving slowly, such as at a dock, a job site or a parking lot. Black on white, silver or light gray is crisp, while a dark door makes the black disappear. The blue star holds up on light paint, but a blue or navy door hides it. At highway distance the light strokes soften, so this design suits a truck people walk up to: a broker's company vehicle, a courier with a clean look, an office-minded fleet.
