Summit Block Mountain Logo

Light silver-gray block capitals with a thick black outline spell the sample name, Plateau Carriers, a made-up name that yours replaces. The letters are tall, narrow and slab-like, the kind you see on a varsity jersey. Above them rises a dark mountain silhouette with one high peak and pale gray faces where light hits the slopes. Below, TRANSPORT COMPANY sits in smaller black spaced capitals between two heavy black bars, one on each side. There is no color accent, only black, white and gray.

Tall, narrow letters let a long two-word name stay on one line, so this layout copes with long company names better than a script would. The mountain spans nearly the full width of the lettering, so a short name leaves the peak looking large beside it. The bar-flanked line underneath is meant for a short descriptor, roughly the length of the one in the sample. Its wide, flat shape suits a generous door area.

Black outline plus silver-gray fill gives strong contrast on white, yellow, light blue and other light doors, and it holds up on mid-tone reds. On a black, charcoal or dark gray door the outline merges with the paint and only the gray fill is left, which looks flatter. A colorless, rugged style like this suits flatbed, regional hauling and construction-trade fleets, or any owner who wants a design that stays out of the way of the truck's own paint.
