Dark charcoal reads well on white, silver, light gray, cream and yellow doors, and it vanishes on black, dark blue or dark green paint. On a dark door the orange is what survives. Those rays are fine tapering lines, so from across a yard they blend into one orange glow instead of separate sparks.
