Half Sun Road Logo

Above two lines of heavy charcoal capitals, a half sun sits on a flat horizon: the left half is orange, the right half purple, divided by a straight vertical seam. The horizon is a hairline that tapers to a point at both ends, with a small black triangle under its middle. HIGH DESERT runs along the first line in wide-set capitals, and HAULING fills the line below at a larger size. High Desert Hauling is a made-up sample name, and your company name takes the place of the words while the half sun stays.

The sample puts a two-word phrase on top and one bold word below, with both lines ending up about equally wide. A place or region phrase over a single trade word matches it best, such as a valley, a ridge or a direction on the first line. A one-word name fits the larger line, and a name with four or more words pushes the letters smaller. Send your company name with your order and use the notes field for a tagline or a color request. We fit the lettering under the sun and send a proof for you to approve before printing.

The charcoal lettering does most of the work, so a light or mid-tone door is the best match: white, silver, tan, sand, light gray and yellow all read cleanly. A dark door swallows the charcoal. The half sun is small and its hairline horizon is the thinnest part of the design, so from across a lot expect the lettering and the colored dome to carry it. A purple or deep orange door fights with the sun. It fits a regional hauler, a dump or aggregate truck, or any small fleet with a western or desert-country name. Compare the proof with your truck color before approving.

Pick this look, send us your company name, approve the proof, and we print it. $120 per door.
