Royal Axle Gold Black Premium Door Decal Set
Gold and black crowned premium door decal set: a matching pair for both doors, with your name and numbers. $189 per set.
Gold truck door decals in three premium gold and black sets, each a matched pair for both doors with your name, USDOT and MC number. $189 per set.
Gold truck door decals from us come as three full-art sets in gold and black: a crowned crest, a winged shield and a rugged hexagon. Each set is two matching decals, one per door, for $189. You supply your company name, USDOT number and an optional MC number, and we email a proof to approve before printing. The gold lives in the artwork; it is not a lettering color you can pick.
The names and numbers in the pictures are made-up samples. Yours replace them.
The most ornate. A black panel with a double gold border and rounded corners holds a gold crown above a head-on black truck with gold stacks and a gold grille. Scrollwork and laurel branches frame it. A gold serif plaque carries the name in large capitals with a small spaced word beneath. A slim bar at the foot holds the USDOT and MC numbers in small gold capitals between two crowns. See the Royal Axle set.
Sleeker and more modern. A black panel inside a double gold line holds a side-view black semi with gold trim, gold wing stripes and a gold star on each side. The name is in gold block capitals with a spaced word below and a thin white script slogan. The numbers are large white block capitals. See the Gold Route set.
The rugged one. A charcoal panel with a gray border holds a yellow-gold hexagon outline around a head-on black truck. The name is white, with a short yellow line below it. The numbers are black on a yellow band with black diagonal stripes at each end. The accent here is bright yellow rather than a glossy gold. See the Foundation Haul set.
Gold on black is a high-contrast pair for a name, but the number lines matter more for marking. 49 CFR 390.21 asks for letters that contrast sharply with their background and can be read from 50 feet in daylight while the truck is stopped, on both sides.
The three sets handle this differently. Gold Route sets the numbers large in white. Foundation Haul sets them in black on a yellow band. Royal Axle puts them in a slim gold bar, which is the most decorative and the smallest. Judge your proof against the 50-foot standard, not against how it looks on a screen. Confirm your own requirements with FMCSA or your state, and see the USDOT number display rules page for the summary.
The black panels stand out most on white, silver and light gray doors, where the decal reads as a dark block. On a black door the panel melts into the paint and the gold border, crown or stripes do the outlining, which is subtler. On a yellow or tan door the gold trim loses punch, but the dark panel still sets the shape. Foundation Haul's yellow band can match a yellow door while its black numbers keep their own contrast.
Our lettering decals use Black, White, Red or Blue lettering on a White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue sticker. We do not offer a metallic or reflective gold. For a plain look close to Foundation Haul, black lettering on a yellow sticker is the nearest match. Our color pairing page and fonts and colors guide cover the options.
Your company name, USDOT number and optional MC number go on the product page. A set is two decals about 18 inches wide each (a width, not a legal size). The vinyl is 3M and Oracal, with a 3-year guarantee, and you install it yourself with the sheet and video included. For more styles, see the other illustrated door decal sets and semi truck door decals.
We do not offer a metallic or reflective option. The gold is a color in the printed artwork, so judge the look from the product picture and the proof we email. Foundation Haul's accent is a bright yellow-gold. Royal Axle and Gold Route use a richer, shaded gold in their trim and letters.
No. Lettering decals are Black, White, Red or Blue on a sticker background of White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue. Gold appears only in the full-art sets. If you want the dark and gold look with your own name and numbers, choose one of the three sets above.
They work, with a different effect. The black panel blends into the door, so the gold border, crown, stripes and lettering stand out instead. It looks quieter than the same decal on a white or silver truck. Check the proof, and use it to see how the numbers sit.
Royal Axle is ornate: crown, scrollwork, laurel and a formal serif name plaque, with the numbers in a slim bar. Gold Route is cleaner: a side-view truck, wing stripes, block lettering and large white numbers. Gold Route suits a modern fleet look, while Royal Axle suits a formal, luxury look.
A set is $189 and includes two matching decals. For comparison, a plain USDOT Decal Sticker is $18.99 each, so two cost $37.98. The set adds the full artwork, your company name and a proof to approve before printing. Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more.
