Do Not Follow Decal for Trucks

A do not follow sticker is a two-line decal for construction and work-zone trucks that turn into areas closed to traffic. The sample reads DO NOT FOLLOW on the first line and CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE below it. You can change either line, and we print exactly what you type. The decal is $22.99 each. Think about the driver right behind the truck, because that driver is who reads this sticker. The tailgate or the rear panel is a practical place for it, with the decal kept off the tail lights, the license plate, the reflectors and the latch. Measure the flat area first, since 24 inches needs a wide panel and 12 inches suits a narrow tailgate. On a dark body, a white or yellow background keeps the sticker from blending into the paint, and black lettering on yellow is easy to read from a distance.

A decal can ask a driver not to follow the truck, but it cannot make that driver act on it. This sticker does not stop anyone from driving into a work area, and it does not replace the cones, barricades, flaggers or other traffic control a crew uses to close a lane. We make no claim that it prevents accidents. Treat it as a plain note on the back of the truck, and put the real effort into how the work zone is set up.
