Keep the decal clear of the tail lights, the plate, the reflectors, the tailgate latch and the hinges. Measure the panel with a tape and leave a clear margin around the decal. A 24 inch decal is the size for a full rear panel, and 12 inches fits between the lights on a narrow tailgate. For colors, a yellow background with black lettering reads clearly on a dark body.
