House and Hammer Remodeling Logo

A golden-ochre house outline stands at the top: a peaked roof around an open frame, with a hammer drawn inside, its handle slanting up from the lower left and its head near the roof peak. Under the house, two lines of dark navy capitals in a wide, rounded geometric face, both lines nearly the same width. The sample name, Cornerstone Remodeling, is made up, and yours takes its place. Two colors: gold and navy.

Both name lines run to similar widths, so this layout suits two long words, like the sample's, better than a short name. A short pair makes the letters big and the house look small beside them. One very long word on either line shrinks the whole block. A third line has no room. A name of two words sits evenly, one per line, while a single word can take line one with the trade word below.

Navy lettering shows on white, silver, light gray and cream, and fades on black, dark blue and dark green. The gold house is fairly light, so on white it is soft and the navy name does the heavy lifting. Gold likes a dark door, but then the navy disappears, so a mid-gray door lets both stay visible. It suits remodelers, carpenters and renovation crews, and the hammer is a trade icon only.
