No Smoking Decal for Vehicles

On a company car or van, put the decal on the driver door or the rear door panel, where a passenger or the next driver sees it before getting in. On a fuel or propane truck, a cab door or a side panel is where a person walking up to the truck can read it. Measure the flat area first. A 12 inch width fits a car door or narrow van panel, and 18 or 24 inches suit a truck door or a wider panel. The width does not change the price. For colors, black lettering on white or white lettering on black is the plainest pair.

The federal rule for certain hazardous materials is 49 CFR 397.13. It says no person may smoke or carry a lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe on or within 25 feet of a motor vehicle carrying certain hazardous materials, including Class 1, Class 5, Division 2.1, Class 3, Division 4.1 and Division 4.2 materials, and it covers some empty tank vehicles under conditions the rule sets.
