About this decal
Our Oklahoma decal prints your USDOT number followed by OK, such as USDOT 1234567 OK, on one line with no company name. The rule we follow is Oklahoma Corporation Commission rule OAC 165:30-3-17, which covers intrastate carriers. As we read the rule, a carrier designated intrastate-only shows the number followed by OK, marked the way 49 CFR 390.21 describes. Each decal is $18.99, and the live preview shows it on a truck door before you order.
The rule appears to cover intrastate carriers, with the OK marking used when a carrier is designated intrastate-only. Confirm your designation with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission before you order. The rule also mentions a separate OCC cab card or stamp for for-hire carriers licensed by the Commission. Which Oklahoma trucks need the OK decal?
As we read OAC 165:30-3-17, the OK marking goes with a USDOT number on carriers designated intrastate-only, and every intrastate carrier should obtain and display a USDOT number. Ask the Oklahoma Corporation Commission whether your carrier is designated intrastate-only before you order.
Do Oklahoma for-hire carriers need anything besides the decal?
The rule says for-hire carriers licensed by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission also keep a separate OCC cab card or stamp in the power unit. The decal does not replace that paperwork. Confirm the current cab card or stamp process with the Commission.
Where on an Oklahoma truck does the OK decal go?
