Phone Number Decal for Trucks
A phone number in big digits with an optional line above. Type it, preview it, order. $18.99 per decal.
Live preview. Type your lines on the right and watch the door update.
Your business name on one line, nothing else. Type it, preview it on a door, order. $18.99 per decal.
A company name decal with one line and nothing else: your business name, such as Acme Trucking, on a solid rectangle in the sticker color you pick. Type the name, choose 12, 18 or 24 inches of width and two colors, and the live preview puts it on a truck door before you pay. It suits a pickup door, a van side, a truck bed or a trailer panel. The price is $18.99 per decal in 3M or Oracal vinyl, and the Set of 2 option gives you a matching pair for $37.98.
Know what this decal leaves out. It has no USDOT number, so it is not the federal marking by itself. Where 49 CFR 390.21 applies, the marking is the carrier's name and its USDOT number on both sides of the vehicle, and a name alone covers only half of that. If your truck needs the number too, the USDOT Decal Sticker prints the number, and the Company Name + USDOT Decal ($27.99) prints both on one rectangle. Our who needs a USDOT number guide is the place to sort out which camp you are in. We cannot decide it for you, and rules change, so confirm with FMCSA or your state.
Type the name the way you want it to read. When the federal rule applies, the name is the legal name or a single trade name as listed on the carrier's registration, so copy it from your record and skip nicknames. Where the rule does not apply, the wording is yours: Rivera Tile and Stone, Harbor Mobile Detailing, Oak Street Plumbing. The line holds up to 32 characters, and a long name prints with smaller letters because the builder fits the line to the rectangle. For a long name, go up a width before you cut words. The company name decals page and the door decal size guide show how the widths compare.
Where it goes is up to you. A name looks right on a pickup door, a van side, a truck bed or a trailer panel, anywhere the surface is clean and flat, and our pickup truck door decals and work van decals pages show how other businesses lay it out. Pick colors that contrast sharply; the builder sample is white on blue, and the fonts and colors guide compares pairs. Every width costs $18.99, so a wider decal costs nothing extra. For both sides, take the Set of 2. The vinyl goes on by hand with the printed sheet, and a decal that peels or comes off is replaced free for three years.
Shipping is $7.99 per order, free over $99, with tracking by email one or two days after you order. Install is DIY with a printed sheet and video link in the box. A 3-year guarantee covers a free replacement if it peels or comes off. Details: shipping, install, refunds and returns.
Only the business name you type, on one line, up to 32 characters. The builder sample is Acme Trucking, white on a blue sticker. There is no city, number or phone on it. We print exactly what you enter, so read the live preview for spelling and spacing before you pay $18.99. Each decal is one piece, so a matching pair is two decals, or the Set of 2 option.
That depends on the truck. If the federal marking rule covers it, the name has to appear with a USDOT number, so a name-only decal is half of the job. If it does not, a name alone can be all you want. Read our USDOT number display rules summary, then ask FMCSA or your state agency about your own vehicle.
Where the federal rule applies, 49 CFR 390.21 asks for the legal name or a single trade name as listed on the carrier's registration form. Where it does not, you choose the wording, although a state or a licensing board may have its own lettering rules. Our company name guide explains trade names and leased trucks.
Keep it to 32 characters or fewer and watch the preview. A long name prints with smaller letters than a short one, so a wider decal helps more than squeezing words. If the federal rule applies to your truck, do not trim the name to fit, because it should match your registration. If it does not apply, shortening it is your choice.
Choose by what you want printed. This decal is the name alone and costs $18.99. The Business Name + Phone Decal is $30.99 and carries a name, an optional tagline and a phone number on one rectangle. For a number without a name, the Phone Number Decal is $18.99, and you can order the two single-line decals side by side.
