Business Name + Phone Number Decal
Business name, optional tagline and phone number on one door decal for trucks and vans. $30.99 each.
Work van decals for a business name, phone number, website and trade logo. See sample layouts, what each line adds and how to order for both doors.
Work van decals usually draw on four things: a business name, a phone number, a website and, if you have one, a trade logo. They do not all have to share one decal. A workable split puts the name and phone on the doors and the website or logo on another panel, so every line stays large enough to read.
A sample for a repair business, with made-up details:
That is the Business Name + Phone Number decal, $30.99 per decal. Line two is optional, and it earns its place only if a stranger could not tell your trade from the name. The name and tagline lines take up to 32 characters each and the phone line takes 24, so keep every line short and the letters can stay big. Include the area code, and print only a tagline you can back up, because "Licensed and insured" must be true.
The Business Name + Website Decal is $27.99 and pairs the name with an address, for example HOLLISTER HOME REPAIR over hollisterrepair.example. Type the address as a customer would, without https:// or www, and check the preview to see how it reads. A domain with a hyphen or a digit is harder to say aloud, so think about whether someone could find it from a glance at a passing van.
Want the phone and the website on the same decal? The Make-Your-Own 5-Line takes any text you type, at $51 per decal.
A logo shows the trade at a glance. The Wrench and Drop Plumbing Logo is an example: blue capitals beside a crossed wrench and a water drop. Our ready-made logo designs are $120 per door, your company name is fitted to the design, and you approve a proof before anything prints. An optional contour cut, $10 more per door, trims the decal to the shape of the logo instead of a rectangle.
Browse all custom logo designs, or see the plumbing truck decals page for one trade in detail. A simple layout is the logo on the front doors and a separate name-and-phone decal on a flat side or rear panel.
The name, phone and website decals carry no USDOT number. Whether a van is covered by the federal rules turns on its weight rating, passenger count and use (49 CFR 390.5T). If it is covered, the marking rule asks for the carrier's legal name or a single trade name and the USDOT number on both sides (49 CFR 390.21), and the Custom USDOT Logo puts them on one decal. The cargo van and Sprinter van guide walks through the weight test, and who needs a USDOT number covers the rest.
Pick lettering to match your brand. Red or blue lettering on a white sticker reads clearly and ties to a mark like the blue plumbing logo. In the builder, red or blue lettering is $2 more per decal. On a white van, a white sticker blends into the paint while a yellow one stands out. On a dark van, a white sticker gives a bright block. The truck lettering fonts and colors guide shows which pairings to avoid.
Vans often have pressed creases and recessed sections, so tape out the rectangle and check that it sits on one flat plane. Keep it off door seals, trim and textured plastic, which may not hold vinyl the way painted metal does. Then follow how to install truck door decals. The door decal size guide covers choosing a width, and the door builder previews your lines.
Put the business name first and as large as the width allows, then a short line saying what you do, then the phone number with its area code. Add the website only if it is short and easy to read. Leave out anything you cannot back up, such as a license or insurance claim that is not true.
Type the plain address a customer would enter, such as hollisterrepair.example, without https:// or www. Check the preview for spelling and spacing, and read it aloud once. Because each decal is printed exactly as typed, a wrong letter means a new decal, and our guarantee does not cover a mistyped line.
Prices are per decal, so a pair of Business Name + Phone Number decals is $61.98, and a pair of website decals is $55.98. Shipping is a flat $7.99, free on orders of $99 or more counted before discounts. Logo doors are $120 per door. Check the live preview before you pay.
It depends on the van's weight rating, passenger count and use under the federal definition (49 CFR 390.5T), and states add their own rules. Check the manufacturer's rating on your van, then ask FMCSA or your state agency. If the rule covers it, the name and USDOT number go on both sides.
Black lettering on a yellow sticker has a wide gap in lightness and stands apart from white paint. White lettering on a black, red or blue sticker also reads well. Red or blue lettering on a white sticker suits a brand palette, but the sticker then blends into the van, so judge it in the preview.
