Custom Text Decal for Trucks (Three Lines)
Three lines of your own wording on one rectangle, such as a headline, tagline and phone or license line. $25.99 per decal.
Live preview. Type your lines on the right and watch the door update.
Two lines of your own wording, a main line and a detail line. Preview it, then order. $22.99 per decal.
A custom truck lettering decal with two lines of wording you type. The top line holds up to 32 characters and the line below holds up to 28, and both print exactly as entered on a solid rectangle in the sticker color you choose. Use two lines when you need a headline and one supporting detail, such as a service over a phone number. The live preview shows both lines on a truck door before you pay. The price is $22.99 per decal, and the Set of 2 option is $45.98.
Two lines work when you want a headline and one detail, and you do not need a fixed template. The top line can hold a service, a trade, a slogan or a name, and the second line can hold a phone number, a web address, a unit number or a service area. Each character prints as you type it, so a web address with its dots or a phone number with its area code needs the same care as the rest of the wording. We do not check the words, the digits or the spelling, and whatever you enter stays on the vinyl until the decal comes off. This decal carries no USDOT number unless you type one. Where 49 CFR 390.21 applies, the rule asks for the legal name and the USDOT number on both sides, so read the USDOT number display rules before you choose the lines.
Compare before you order. The Tailgate Name Decal is a two-line decal set up for a business name over a phone number or a web address, at $22.99, so if that is exactly your layout, it is the simpler pick. The Business Name + Phone Decal at $30.99 carries a name, an optional tagline and a phone number on one rectangle. This custom two-line decal is the open version: you choose both lines, which suits a service over a number, a name over a city, or a crew line over a unit number. The truck lettering cost guide compares what different layouts cost, and the fleet unit number decals guide covers numbering a fleet.
Measure the height as well as the width, because a second line adds height to the decal. Pick 12, 18 or 24 inches to fit the flat part of the panel, and check that both lines clear the handle, the seams and any ridge. Background colors are White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue, and lettering is Black, White, Red or Blue. The samples on the page are only samples, and width and colors do not change the $22.99 price on this page. Contour cut is $5 more per decal and cuts each line close around its own lettering, so the two lines come off as two separate pieces. For the steps to apply it yourself, see the install guide.
Shipping is $7.99 per order, free over $99, with tracking by email one or two days after you order. Install is DIY with a printed sheet and video link in the box. A 3-year guarantee covers a free replacement if it peels or comes off. Details: shipping, install, refunds and returns.
The top line holds up to 32 characters and the second line holds up to 28. Both print exactly as you type them, with no labels or fixed fields added. Put your main message on the top line, such as a service or a name, and the detail on the second line, such as a phone number, a web address or a unit number. Check spelling, punctuation and spacing on both lines in the live preview before you pay $22.99 per decal, because we do not change the wording.
Yes. A web address is ordinary text on the second line, so type it the way you want people to read it and check every character in the preview. A missing letter or a wrong dot prints just as typed. If you need both a phone number and a web address, the three-line custom text decal leaves room for a third line, or the Business Name + Website Decal at $27.99 is set up around a name and an address.
Only in shape. The Tailgate Name Decal is set up for a business name over a phone number or a web address, and it costs $22.99. This custom two-line decal takes any wording on each line, so the top line can be a service, a trade or a crew name, and the second line can be anything up to 28 characters. Choose the custom version when the top line is not your business name, and the tailgate version when it is.
Put the words people should read first on the top line, usually the service, the trade or the name they will search for. The second line is the detail they need next, such as the number to call or the address to visit online. Read the preview as a passerby would, from the street, and check that the top line makes sense on its own. If it does not, swap the two lines before you order.
Order the Set of 2 at $45.98 when the same two lines belong on both doors or both sides of a trailer. It is two identical decals at exactly double the single price. If one side needs a different phone number or a different detail line, order two single decals with the wording each side should show. Measure both panels before you order and pick the same width for each, so the pair sits the same way on the truck.
