Live preview. Type your lines on the right and watch the door update.
Three lines of your own wording on one rectangle, such as a headline, tagline and phone or license line. $25.99 per decal.
A three-line custom vehicle lettering decal for a message with three parts: a headline, a supporting line and a contact or license line. You type up to three lines of your own wording, and we print them exactly as entered on one solid rectangle in the sticker color you choose. It suits a van side, a trailer panel or the side of a box body, where three stacked lines read as one sign. The live preview shows the stack on a truck door before you pay. Each decal is $25.99 in 3M or Oracal vinyl, and the Set of 2 option is $51.98.
Three lines give you room for a headline, a short tagline and a line of contact or license detail, all in your own words. Give each line one job: the top line names the business or the service, the middle line says what you do or where you work, and the bottom line gives people a way to reach you or the number they need. We do not choose or check the words, so the spelling and digits are yours to confirm in the preview. Nothing on this decal is a USDOT marking unless you type a USDOT number, and where 49 CFR 390.21 applies, the rule asks for the legal name and the USDOT number on both sides. The USDOT number display rules page explains the rule in short form.
Check the nearby products before you order. The Business Name + Phone Decal carries a name, an optional tagline and a phone number on one rectangle for $30.99, so if those three parts are all you need, that product is built for them. This custom version costs $25.99 and takes any three lines, so a license line, a unit label or a city can take the place of the tagline. For five lines and the usual USDOT and MC layout, the Make-Your-Own 5-Line decal is $51. If the only line you need is a license number, the contractor license number decal is the simpler choice.
A stack of lines suits a wide, flat, clean panel. A van side, a trailer panel or the side of a box body gives three lines room, and the work van decals and box truck decals pages show other layouts for those vehicles. Pick 12, 18 or 24 inches to match the panel, and measure the height as well as the width, since a stack takes more height than a single line. Backgrounds are White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue, and lettering is Black, White, Red or Blue. Width and color do not move the $25.99 price here. Contour cut is $5 more and cuts each line close around its own lettering, as separate pieces. The truck lettering fonts and colors guide helps you pick a pair.
Shipping is $7.99 per order, free over $99, with tracking by email one or two days after you order. Install is DIY with a printed sheet and video link in the box. A 3-year guarantee covers a free replacement if it peels or comes off. Details: shipping, install, refunds and returns.
Any wording you type. Many owners use a headline on top, a service or tagline in the middle and a phone number, web address or license line at the bottom. The lines print exactly as entered, with no fixed labels, so type each word the way you want it read. Keep the lines short enough that the stack stays easy to read in the live preview. If the bottom line is only a phone number, the Phone Number Decal prints a number in large digits for $18.99.
It adds $5 per decal, which brings a three-line decal to $30.99, and it cuts each line close around its own lettering as separate pieces. Three lines therefore come off as three pieces instead of one rectangle. Choose it when you want each line to stand on its own, and leave it off when you want one solid background behind all three lines. The width and colors stay the same either way.
Yes, if the number is yours to show and it is current. Type it as its own line, such as LICENSE followed by your number, and we print it as typed. We do not check licenses or verify numbers, and the decal does not prove that you hold one. Ask your licensing board what it expects on a vehicle before you order, since rules differ by trade and by place. Ordering the decal does not make the claim true.
Only if you type the legal name and the USDOT number into the lines, and even then it covers one side. Where 49 CFR 390.21 applies, the marking goes on both sides of the vehicle, so a one-sided decal leaves the other side open. The Set of 2 covers both sides with matching wording. For a layout that prints the name and number, the Company Name + USDOT Decal is $27.99, and the USDOT number display rules page is worth reading before you order.
Measure the flat panel in both directions, then pick 12, 18 or 24 inches. A stack of three lines needs more height than a single line, so the height of the panel matters as much as the width. A wide van side or trailer panel usually leaves room for the 24 inch width, while a narrow door may suit 12 or 18 inches. Every width costs $25.99. The truck door decal size guide compares the three widths side by side.
