The circle needs a single bold letter, so the layout is easiest when your name begins with a letter that looks good as a large capital. Two words of moderate length suit the one-line strip. A very long name makes the thin letters small, because the strip must stay within the door. Put the letter you want in the ring in the order notes, and you check the ring and the name on the proof.

The thin green strokes are the quietest design in the set. On a white, cream or light silver door they look clean and professional, and they suit a regional carrier, a courier service or a tidy delivery fleet. Green on black, dark blue or dark green paint nearly disappears, and the hairline lettering gets lost on a patterned or glossy surface. If you want something that shouts from across a yard, this is not that, though the M circle still stands out.
