Wrecking Ball Demolition Logo

Demolition truck decals for crew pickups, dump trucks and trailers: what to print on the doors, sample text, a wrecking ball logo and the contour cut.
Demolition truck decals have one job from the far side of a job-site fence: put your company name and a phone number where a passing driver or a curious neighbor can read them in a few seconds. A logo is a bonus on top of that. Below are what to print on a demolition crew's doors, three sample layouts and a wrecking ball logo.
Demolition work draws attention. The truck sits at the curb or inside the fence while walls come down, and three kinds of people look at it:
Each gives it a few seconds, so the brief is a large name, the word "demolition" and a number.
Crews run pickups, dump trucks and haulers, and many tow equipment on a trailer, though every outfit differs. We sell decals, not wraps, so they go on doors and flat panels.
Resist listing every service. "Demolition, hauling, cleanouts, grading" shrinks every word on the line. If you hold a contractor license, check with your state licensing board whether it wants a number shown on the vehicle. We print whatever text you give us, so a number can take a line of its own.
All names and numbers here are made up.
Name and number. The Business Name + Phone decal is $30.99 per decal and is the simpler choice when a door only needs to say who you are:
Name, city and numbers. The Custom USDOT Logo puts four lines on one $32 decal:
Whether a given truck needs a USDOT number depends on weight and use. Start with who needs a USDOT number, and see the display rules page for placement if one applies.
The Wrecking Ball Demolition Logo is a ready-made design at $120 per door. A black wrecking ball hangs on a chain at the right end, and a yellow bar runs through the middle, with part of the name in heavy black capitals above it and the rest below. The sample reads "Teardown Demolition." We fit your name to it and send a proof to approve before anything prints.
On the proof, see how large your name ends up, since the ball and chain use up width. The logo has no phone number, so plan a separate decal for it.
The optional contour cut adds $10 per door. The decal is cut to the shape of the logo instead of a rectangle, so the chain trails off the end with nothing around it. Black and yellow artwork looks sharp on a white or light truck. On dark paint the black chain and ball would sink into the door, so leave the cut off and let the rectangle sit behind them.
Demolition trucks rarely stay clean. Pick the colors for how the door looks on day four, not the day you install it. Mid-tones such as Silver or Red lose punch under dust, while Black lettering on a White or Yellow background tends to stay readable. The door builder previews each pairing on a truck door.
Measure the flat part of your door before choosing a width, using the truck door decal size guide. Installation is do-it-yourself, per the install guide. Related trades: excavating truck lettering and junk removal truck decals.
Put your company name first, "demolition" second and a phone number third. A city or county line helps if you serve one area. Add a specialty such as "interior demo" only if it is true. Skip long service lists and website addresses, because every extra line makes the important ones smaller on a moving truck.
Pick one strong shape and a heavy name. A wrecking ball is the obvious symbol, and it reads from across a street. Avoid thin lines and tiny type, which blur at distance. The yellow and black wrecking ball design above follows that rule.
It depends on the weight and use of the truck, and a light crew pickup can differ from a heavy dump truck. Our USDOT guide lays out the questions to ask. Rules change, so confirm with your state agency for your own vehicles. We make decals, and compliance is up to you.
Yes, if it has a flat, clean panel. Our decals are 12, 18 or 24 inches wide, which suits a door-sized spot on a trailer. Ribbed or riveted sides can keep vinyl from lying flat, so check the surface and measure first. The install steps are the same as for a truck door.
Wash the truck gently, skip abrasive cleaners and keep a pressure washer's spray from hitting a decal edge head-on. We offer a 3-year guarantee: a decal that peels or comes off is replaced free. Damage from abrasive cleaning is outside the guarantee, so check the refunds and returns page for details.

Your business name, city, USDOT and MC together on one decal. Pick color, pick size, stick it on.
Pick a decal width by measuring the flat part of your door, testing from 50 feet and checking the preview. The 12, 18 and 24 inch options are widths, not legal sizes.
