Roll-Off Container Dumpster Logo
A green roll-off container icon above heavy black capitals. Your name fitted and proofed first. $120 per door.
Dumpster rental truck decals for roll-off trucks and trailers: what goes on the doors, how it differs from container lettering, sample text and a logo.
Dumpster rental truck decals go on the cab doors of the roll-off truck, and they should name the company and give a phone number that a customer can read while the truck is backing into a driveway. The containers are a separate lettering job. Door decals suit the truck, since ours are up to 24 inches wide. We make decals, not wraps.
A roll-off truck visits many addresses, and the container it leaves behind stays for days. People on the street read both, but for different reasons:
If you only have budget for one, start with the truck doors: the truck is the thing that moves from yard to yard. Container markings are a separate project that we do not cover here.
For a rental business, "dumpster rental" is the product, so the door can be literal:
Skip dumpster sizes, prices and a long list of accepted materials. They change, and a vinyl door does not.
All names and numbers here are made up.
Plain and quick. The Business Name + Phone decal is built for a name, a service line and a number:
Name, city and the numbers. If the truck needs the carrier's registered name and number on the door, the Custom USDOT Logo puts your name, city, USDOT and MC on one decal at $26 per door. Whether a truck needs a USDOT number depends on weight and use, so read who needs a USDOT number first. Our display rules page explains where numbers go if one applies.
You can combine them, with a logo or phone decal in one spot and the number decal in another, since each is a separate decal.
The Roll-Off Container Dumpster Logo shows a green roll-off container icon above heavy black capitals. We fit your name to it and send a proof to approve before printing. It costs $120 per door.
The black lettering is wide and thick, so it holds up on a cab door. A name with a long second line, such as "dumpster rental," runs wide, so look at how it spans on the proof. If your name is already long, the icon still helps customers tell what you do, though a plain decal may fit better. The logo carries the name but not a phone number, so put the number on a separate decal.
Add a contour cut for $10 per door on logo designs, and the decal is cut to the outline of the container and letters instead of a rectangle. Roll-off trucks come in white, yellow or a company color, and a contour cut helps most where a rectangle would not match the paint. Our lettering cost guide shows how the pieces add up.
A roll-off truck lives in dust and debris. Black lettering on a Yellow sticker background is the highest-contrast pairing among the standard colors, and it stays readable when the door is gritty. On a dark truck, use White lettering on a Black background. Red lettering on a Blue background tends to look muddy at distance, so test it in the builder first. The door builder previews each combination.
Trucks get sold, repainted and renamed. Our removal guide covers taking an old decal off before a new one goes on. For related fleets, see junk removal truck decals and dump truck decals.
It depends on the truck's weight and use, so there is no one answer. Our USDOT guide lays out the factors. Rules change, so confirm with your state agency for your own truck before you order, because we cannot decide that for you.
The cab-door decals on this page are made for trucks, with widths of 12, 18 and 24 inches. A container side is a much bigger surface, so a 24 inch decal would look small there. Treat container lettering as its own project and ask your container supplier or a local sign shop about it.
Use one simple image, like a container outline or a truck, and a heavy name. Keep colors to two. Skip thin fine details such as a hook or cable; they vanish on a moving truck. The green container design above is one ready-made option, and the proof lets you check it before printing.
The logo is $120 per door, which makes $240 for both doors, or $260 with the contour cut. Shipping is a flat $5.99, and orders of $99 and up ship free. The Business Name + Phone decal is $24.99 each if you want a lower-cost start.
