One line you type, such as LENGTH 53 FT, for a trailer side or rear panel. A reading aid, not a carrier marking. $18.99.
A one-line decal with a trailer length figure that you type, such as LENGTH 53 FT, printed on a solid rectangle in the colors you pick. The figure lets anyone working around the trailer read its length at a glance, without digging through a spec sheet. The decal carries no company name and no number. It costs $18.99 per decal, and the Set of 2 option is $37.98 for two matching decals, one for each side of the trailer.
Think about who reads it. A driver backing a trailer toward a dock wants the length before the trailer reaches the bay. A yard crew sorting trailers on a lot can tell one trailer from another by its figure. A shop manager or dispatcher can check a length from the side of the trailer without opening a file. Those are practical uses, and the decal does nothing beyond printing the figure you choose. Use the same number your own records use, so the trailer on the lot and the trailer in your file match.
A length decal is a reading aid, not a marking with a name and a number on it. This page makes no claim about what a trailer must carry. For the DOT questions that apply to trailers, read the trailer DOT requirements guide, then check with FMCSA or your state agency about your own equipment. If you also need a unit number on the trailer, the fleet unit number decals guide covers fleet numbering, and the Trailer / Unit Number decal pair is a separate product for that job.
Type the figure with its unit, such as LENGTH 53 FT or LENGTH 28 FT 6 IN, within 24 characters in all. Take the figure from your spec sheet or fleet list, and keep the unit on the line so nobody has to guess. Look at the live preview before you pay $18.99, since the decal reproduces the characters you typed. Widths are 12, 18 and 24 inches, the sticker can be White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue, and the lettering can be Black, White, Red or Blue. An extra $5 per decal adds the contour cut. Installation is do-it-yourself, and a printed sheet plus a video on our install page walk through it. A tracking email follows 1 to 2 days after you order, and over three years we replace any decal that peels or comes off, at no charge.
Shipping is $7.99 per order, free over $99, with tracking by email one or two days after you order. Install is DIY with a printed sheet and video link in the box. A 3-year guarantee covers a free replacement if it peels or comes off. Details: shipping, install, refunds and returns.
One line that you type. The builder sample is LENGTH 53 FT, white lettering on a red sticker, and the line holds up to 24 characters. Type the figure with its unit so a reader sees both at once. Check the live preview before you pay $18.99. A matching pair for both sides of the trailer costs $37.98.
No. It carries no company name and no USDOT number, so it is a reading aid rather than a carrier marking. Our copy does not say whether any trailer must carry a marking. Read the trailer DOT requirements guide for the general picture, and check with FMCSA or your state agency about your own trailer before you decide what to print on it.
Choose a clean, flat panel where the person reading it will stand, such as a side near the front or the rear doors. Keep the decal on a smooth area away from edges and lights, so the vinyl sits flat. For enclosed trailers, the enclosed trailer decals page covers that type of body, and the trailer decals page covers trailers more broadly.
Type the unit your own records use, and keep it on the line. LENGTH 53 FT and LENGTH 28 FT 6 IN both fit within 24 characters. A bare number such as 53 can be misread by someone who does not know your fleet's convention, so do not leave the unit off. The decal prints whatever you enter, so a wrong unit looks as clean as a right one. Check it against your spec sheet in the live preview before you pay.
Once the decal is printed, the figure is fixed, so a new length means a new decal. Order the new figure, then take the old decal off by following our removal guide. If you run several trailers, keep a short list of each trailer's figure next to its unit number, so the decal you order goes on the right trailer.
