USDOT Decal Sticker
Just the number: your USDOT number in clear lettering. Same 3M/ORACAL vinyl, same 3-year warranty.
Cheap truck decals without guesswork: what a one-decal order costs with shipping, what pushes the price up, and where you can trim an order safely.
Cheap truck decals here start at $18.99 for a single-line decal, and a one-decal order comes to $26.98 once the flat $7.99 shipping is added. Most trucks carry a decal on each door, which makes it $37.98 plus shipping, or $45.97 in all. The rest of this page shows where the money goes and which choices you control.
Four orders, at the prices on our product pages:
Shipping is one flat fee per order, not per decal. A second order a week later pays $7.99 again, so put everything you need in one cart. Orders of $99 or more ship free, counted before any promo code.
Five single-line decals come to $94.95 and still pay shipping, for $102.94. A sixth takes the order to $113.94 with no shipping, so it adds only $11.00 to what you pay. Do not buy a decal you cannot use just to cross the line.
Four things move the price, and you see each one before you pay.
What the price still includes is 3M and Oracal vinyl and the 3-year guarantee: a decal that peels or comes off is replaced free.
Drop any line the truck does not need. For a truck covered by the federal rule, the marking is the carrier's name and USDOT number on both sides (49 CFR 390.21), and FMCSA says no marking requirement exists for an MC number. Whether your truck is covered turns on weight and use, which who needs a USDOT number walks through.
If a truck needs the name and the number, one two-line decal costs less than two separate ones. The Company Name + USDOT decal is $27.99 per side. A $18.99 name decal plus a $18.99 number decal is $37.98 per side, so the two-line version saves $9.99 per side, or $19.98 for both doors.
Two more trims: measure the door before paying for width, and use promo code 10OFFNOW, which takes 10% off the decals. Starting a carrier or running one truck? The new trucking company and owner-operator pages show layouts for each.
Decals are printed exactly as typed. A wrong digit in a USDOT number means a reprint at full price, because the guarantee does not cover a decal that is exactly what you entered but not what you needed (refunds and returns). Copy the number from your registration and read the preview twice.
On the ready-made product pages, no: a 24 inch decal is the same price as a 12 inch one, for example $18.99 for a single line. In the door builder, 18 inch adds $6 and 24 inch adds $14 per decal. Twenty-four inches is the widest we make, so there is no larger size to price.
The set itself is not cheaper: it is exactly double the single price, so $37.98 for a $18.99 decal. The saving is shipping. Two decals in one order pay $7.99 once, while two separate orders pay it twice. Add every decal for every truck to the same cart before you check out.
The Company Name Decal (Single Line) is $18.99 per decal. It prints the business name only and carries no USDOT number, so it suits a van that no rule covers. A name plus phone number is the Business Name + Phone Number decal at $30.99.
Every decal here is 3M or Oracal vinyl with the same 3-year guarantee, whatever its price. We cannot say how long yours will last, since sun, washing and the surface all matter. If it peels or comes off within three years we send a free replacement. Abrasive cleaning and removal and reapplication are not covered.
No. The decal is the lettering, and these prices are for decals only. The USDOT number itself is issued by FMCSA through its Motus registration system, which is a separate step with its own rules. Our guide on how to get a USDOT number explains the process.
Just the number: your USDOT number in clear lettering. Same 3M/ORACAL vinyl, same 3-year warranty.
One extra number for the door or trailer: CA#, KYU, TXDOT, GVW, VIN or unit #. Type it in the builder.
The classic interstate stack: USDOT over MC. Centered, spaced, 2" letters. Add GVW or CA# in the builder.
Your business name on one line, nothing else. Type it, preview it on a door, order. $18.99 per decal.
