Trailer / Unit Number Decal (Pair)
Unit numbers + GVWR line for trailers and box trucks. Add VIN last-8 in the builder notes.
Fleet vehicle decals made to order: one layout for every truck, a unit number per vehicle, and free shipping at $99. Preview the door in the builder.
Fleet vehicle decals are the same decals you would order for one truck, ordered in a quantity and kept identical from unit to unit. Build one layout in the door builder, count two decals per truck for both doors, and change only the unit number between vehicles. Prices are per decal, and orders of $99 or more ship free.
Choose the lines every truck will carry: company name, USDOT number, MC number if you have one, and any city or phone line. Then fix the width, lettering color and sticker background and reuse them. The live preview shows the result on a truck door before you pay, so you can settle the look on one truck and copy it.
Trucks with different door paint can still match. Keep the lines and lettering color the same and change only the sticker background (White, Black, Yellow, Silver, Red or Blue). Each decal is a solid rectangle, so the lettering sits on its own field instead of on whatever paint is underneath.
The federal marking rule asks for the carrier's name and USDOT number on both sides of the power unit (49 CFR 390.21), so each covered truck needs a matching pair. FMCSA did not extend that duty to towed trailers when it wrote the rule (Federal Register), which is where your own unit numbers do the work.
Two examples at the shop's prices:
The $99 line is counted before any promo code, so a code never takes free shipping away.
A unit number is your own identifier. The rule lets other identifying information appear on the vehicle as long as it is not inconsistent with the required name and number (49 CFR 390.21). Our unit number guide goes deeper. For ordering, three habits prevent reprints:
In the builder you can add the unit number as an extra line (+$3 per decal). The Trailer / Unit Number pair is $18.99 for trailers and box trucks.
The ready-made logo designs are $120 per door. Your company name is fitted to the design and you approve a proof before anything prints. Plan two doors per truck. None of the logo artwork lists a USDOT number, so add a separate USDOT Decal Sticker where a truck needs one. Browse the designs on our truck logo page.
For a big fleet, use the contact form with your truck count, the layout and your unit-number list. We do not list a fleet discount, so the total in your cart is the price, and the lettering cost guide shows how the lines add up. Because made-to-order decals cannot be resold, a question before you order beats a reprint.
Installation is DIY: each package has a printed instruction sheet and a link to the install video, and our door decal install guide adds detail. On a fleet, mark the same spot on every door with tape so the decals line up from truck to truck.
Twenty for the doors, two per truck. Add one Trailer / Unit Number pair for each trailer or box you want numbered. With the USDOT + MC Two-Line decal at $16.99, twenty decals come to $339.80, and the order ships free because it is over $99. Check the layout in the live preview before you enter the quantity.
No fleet discount is listed on the site, and prices are per decal, so your total is whatever the cart shows. If you are lettering a large fleet, send the truck count and layout through the contact form and ask before you order. Please do not assume a discount applies until you have it in writing from us.
Each truck carries the name of the motor carrier operating it, as listed on that carrier's FMCSA registration (49 CFR 390.21). If two registered businesses share a yard, build a separate layout for each name and keep every unit number on one master list so none repeat.
Not the same lines. The marking rule is aimed at the power unit, so trailers usually carry unit numbers and, where useful, a GVWR line, which the Trailer / Unit Number pair covers. If you also put your company name on a trailer for branding, that is your choice rather than something the rule asks for.

Your business name, city, USDOT and MC together on one decal. Pick color, pick size, stick it on.
The classic interstate stack: USDOT over MC. Centered, spaced, 2" letters. Add GVW or CA# in the builder.
Company name over USDOT number on one door decal. $21.99 each. Order two for both doors.
Unit numbers are a carrier's own practice, not a federal rule. See how to pick a format, which decals fit trucks and trailers, and how to order for a whole fleet.
